A. Yes. ThermoBuilt R-30 Wall and R-50 Roof Systems are a construction variation of conventional 2x4 framing methods. 2x6 frame construction is approved throughout the United States. ThermoBuilt homes are built to Florida Hurricane/Building Codes. Variations may be required in a few localities. Inquiries should be made to local building departments.
A. ThermoBuilt uses rigid EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) which is superior to fiberglass and concrete block insulation. ThermoBuilt walls are R-37 and the ThermoBuilt Roof System is a genuine R-50. Compare ThermoBuilt's R-Factors to normal 2x4 construction which provides only R-13 walls & R-24 ceilings.
